I thoroughly enjoyed the BrilliantRetail class. As it continues to evolve, I foresee more and more web designers and developers moving to ExpressionEngine in order to smooth over various bumps in the web development road. Jae does an excellent job presenting the material and is highly enthusiastic about all topics of web development. Jae’s teaching style and helpful time-saving tips have given me the confidence to jump right into ExpressionEngine. Entering the beginners’ class as a complete amateur, I’m now leaving the Advanced class with a much better understanding of EE. Definitely the best training investment I’ve made!
I really enjoyed taking your January Beginner and March Advanced classes. And the timing was great, as I have my first paid EE project in development now, with another in planning stages. Our Advanced class was definitely helpful to have some of EE's features explained in depth. But for me, the inside glimpse to your approach, workflow and actual projects was well worth the class fee alone.
Had to run early so could be at the end of this las session. To be honest I'm overwhelmed by the amount of information I got in this seminars. It was a great experience and the only thing I'm sure after this is that my knowledge with EE needs the Advanced course as well.
Jae's class is about sharing real-world ExpressionEngine experiences. As an ExpressionEngine developer, I felt as if I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and surpassed years of trial and error through this class. I would recommend it to anyone looking to learn the ins and outs of ExpressionEngine!

Jae is extremely knowledgeable and very generous with sharing real-life industry tips and his best of practice techniques. I really benefited from being able to ask Jae a direct question and have him patiently help me through my learning process. Creat-ee classes are like taking a drink from a fire hydrant on a hot day! Cool, refreshing, and can be a little over whelming at times, but in a great way. The depth of knowledge and the complete transparency of sharing of real world projects is well worth the time and cost. When I first started I did not even realize what I did not know. But now I understand ee concepts, best practices and technics to perfect my EE craft.
My first webinar with you was excellent. I really appreciate you bringing in the creators of BrilliantRetail, as well as addressing the setup of an e-commerce store from a legacy system.

This is clearly the best training investment I have ever made! I have employed other training programs from books to screencasts, but Creat-ee's training program is the best by a mile. Not only do you learn the essentials, but Jae incorporates techniques that would take months/years to uncover on your own. He created true "aha" moments with Expression Engine 2.0 training.
You couldn’t ask for more as a turbo-driven boost to reaching a professional level in Expression Engine. Being completely new to Expression Engine and having no idea where to start, this class is absolutely essential! I've learned so much in the class it's amazing. Not only do you learn the technical aspects of Expression Engine but you learn best practices and development tips that are priceless. This class has saved our company hundreds of dollars by showing us the right way -- I would recommend it for anyone starting out!
Never taking an online course before, I was hesitant, but after taking Jae's class. I wouldn't blink on doing it again. Jae's personality is extremely enthusiastic and caring of his students.
What sets this class apart is Jae's extensive industry knowledge and experience combined with natural teaching ability and enthusiasm. In addition to that, his skills and eye as a visual designer come through in his instruction in ways other technical instructors cant come close too. So not only do you get the "how", you also get the "why" and the "wow."
Coming from a graphic design background I was a little intimidated at first to take the CSS / XHTML class. Although once taking the class I was able to grasp the concepts and was able understand the structure a little better of how to create a functioning, well-designed, SEO-friendly website. I am now more confident in looking at CSS code as well as tackling more complex sites.
Thanks to your basic HTML/CSS class I was able to make it work much more easily than I would have otherwise. The difference from where I was before the class is night and day.
