During the free webinar, Jae will go over the basic setup, fundamental concepts, and some of the powerful ideas that can be implemented using EE, using real-world examples from past and current projects. Aimed primarily at designers, developers, and site owners new to ExpressionEngine, you'll find that many of the features and improvements put EE in the very short list of content management platforms for your next website.

Presenter Jae Barclay of ejaeDesign (www.ejaedesign.com) has been a member of the highly selective EE Pro Network for the past 4 years, and have created over 30 EE-based websites ranging from Fortune 1000 clients to a one-person startup. So join us on for this informative and practical session. We look forward to having you at our seminar, Introduction to ExpressEngine!

Really enjoyed the class. I’m very new to getting a website going and I learned a lot about ExpressionEngine 2.0.
- Mauna

Thanks for the awesome Intro to EE yesterday. After seeing what EE is capable of, a developer has to be crazy not to get into it!
- Dezzi

A really great introduction to Expression Engine…real collaborators spirit. This intro was inspiring and very open and honest!
- Nathan

Thank you so much for taking the time to show EE today. I thought you kept things very simple and easy to understand for a beginner like me.
- Rob

- Dave

Thank you for the webinar. It was quite informative and easy to understand.
- Paris

I was able to grasp EE better in what it’s capabilities are. I recommend this short intro in EE for anyone interested in CMS web design.
- Hideki

Seeing EE in use makes me very interested in the system. I’m definitely proposing to my boss that we add EE to our workflow!
- Jonathan

Great webinar and thanks for some of the clarifications. Hoping to see another more advanced one soon. Just a note, you mentioned that EE is not opensource, but perhaps you ment it’s not free, as I have just downloaded it and it seems as opensource as it gets smile

Also thanks to Randy from geise.com for explaining some of the EE terms.

I am off now to play around with EE smile

Thanks Trajche - you’re right about OpenSource vs. commercial software, and they’re not always opposite of each other.

EE is based on OpenSource technologies (although code is 100% proprietary to EllisLab).

Thanks for the important distinction!
